The Reset Playbook
For the day after a missed one. Nothing dramatic — just ways back.
01
Do the smallest version
Not the habit you meant to build — the two-minute version of it. One page, one stretch, one call. The point today isn't progress, it's proving the habit still exists.
02
Don't make up the missed day
There's nothing to repay and nothing to double up. Trying to win yesterday back is how a missed day turns into a missed week.
03
Shrink it before you miss again
If two days in a row are gone, the habit is probably too big for this season of your life. Make it smaller on purpose — a habit you actually keep beats a habit you respect.
04
Attach it to something you already do
After coffee, after your shower, after you close the laptop. A habit with a place to live doesn't need motivation — it just needs the thing in front of it.
05
Start again today, not Monday
Monday is a story we tell ourselves to feel better about stopping. Today is one tap away, and one tap is genuinely enough.
